Massage therapy's role in integrative health care has become widely accepted in major hospitals and in daily medical practice. In addition, a wealth of research has shown the impact of massage therapy for pain management and relief. With this mind, the American Massage Therapy Association has published a new educational tool: "Massage Therapy in Integrative Care & Pain Management" to provide research demonstrating massage therapy's value and efficacy.
